Hi everyone, I know I haven't posted for a while but I have been busy

I entered an ornament swap and thought that I would post them before I mailed them

I made a package that looked like a Christmas present....

Then when you take the lid off it opens up to reveal some Christmas icons.

Not Gone

Stocking Swap

Hi Everyone........  I haven't posted for awhile but I really have been busy.

I entered a swap and it was a lot of fun.........

It was a Christmas Stocking Swap.

It was set up pretty  neat, it was set up in blocks of eight so you only had to make seven.  You have to send all seven of your item to one designated person along with a self addressed envelope with postage on it, she in return sends everyone their seven stockings from the people in their group.  It takes the mailing off of you and you only pay for your destination.  Sounds good.

Here is the stocking I made for the swap, this is my sample then I made 7 more just like it/

If anyone is interested in doing a swap, or has an idea for one please let me know.  I would love to do more. 

Gives you a chance to see other peoples work and makes for a great addition to friends collections.

It can be anything cards, journals, whatever.  They did give a  predetermined size 3 1/2 by 6.

 

Simple paper sack journal book

I made just a simple flat paper sack tag or journal book.

I cut the sack 5x5 and bound it on the side leaving only a pocket on top for tags or journaling

I made various tags for journaling or pictures to slide in the pocket

I made a simple closure out of chain, charm and paper clips

Friends Just Know

Got up this morning, feeling sort of blah (but I have had several days like that lately, maybe just feeling sorry for myself, anyway went out and got the mail and there was a package, and who was it from????? Someone I consider a dear friend.  You all know her and I"m sure feel the same way about her as I do.

Still Around

  Hi Everyone, just wanted to take a minute and let everyone know I am still around, been extremely busy but haven't forgot you all......My granddaughter stayed with me most of the summer but she is back in school and I hope to  find {take} time to get back to blogging........................Don't forget me......

busy week.............

Just taking a minute to let you all know I haven't left, but had quite a week.  I went to spend a couple of days with my daughter.  While I was there I signed up to be a Lia Sophia advisor.  That jewelery is gorgeous and one of the best hostess and customer plans I've ever seen.  It actually makes owning that beautiful jewelery very affordable......

After returning home there were several family issues to deal with and on top of that ended up in the Doctor again.  Slight cutting on my foot and am off my feet again, slight infection but should clear up soon.  I go back tomorrow and we'll see how that goes.

Haven't done much crafting but once again vow to get back  in it faithfully......
